I was just thinking of settling down with my knitting and book for the evening when a friend messaged me to see if I would like to go somewhere for a sunset! I suggested Knowlton Church. We weren’t going to get an interesting sky as it was so clear and no chance of any cloud appearing before the sunset. But it’s always a nice place to photograph. https://www.english-heritage.org.uk/…/knowlton-chu…/history/ and always good practice whatever the conditions.

When we got there we found there was a family gathering picnicing by the church which was a bit of a pain as we weren’t counting on taking pictures of people but we managed to work round them before they left before sunset.

Below are a some of the images I took that evening, using my wide angle 7.5 Laowa lens (15mm full frame equivalent) and my 12-100mm f4 Pro Olympus lens with my Olympus OMD 1 Mark 11 camera.
