This autumn has been very special the trees have been amazing and the leaves have remained for a while for us to enjoy the colours.

Last night autumn arrived with vengeance in the guise of storm Angus, we knew it was going to be bad because it had a name! We were lucky in North Dorset as the high winds missed us by a whisker, luckily, but we got the rain, around an inch and a half fell overnight. There are still a few leaves on the trees but we appear to be heading towards winter.

I took some pictures with my phone of the Stour and fields, the river was running steady yesterday but has risen up the banks very quickly with all the rain from last night. More rain is forecast in the next couple of days so we could see the Stour waters flood for the first time this season.
