After a couple of days of foggy mornings on the 28th February I looked out of the window before dawn and saw that it was clear with a frost and slight layer of mist towards the river. I decided to head for Bere Marsh once again and the North Dorset Trailway.

There was a promise of better weather at the end of the month but I woke up to thick fog on a couple of mornings. On the first morning I headed towards Hambledon Hill but soon realised it was as thick towards the top as well as in the valley
