We are starting to get some different birds into the garden now, besides the usual Sparrows and Starlings (who appear from nowhere when I put food out!), we also have a couple of resident Robins who are also ready when the food goes out and also ‘helping with the garden clear up. The Blackbirds are coming back as are a few Bluetits, a Wren and others. We were also pleased to see a couple of Coal Tits feeding which was a welcome sight.

One evening just as the sun was going down we noticed three Roe deer in the field at the back of us, we think it may have been mum and offspring, one had antlers just showing and was obviously very young. They stayed around for a while and the two youngsters had a bit of a spar together. I managed to get some images through the velux window in our bedroom.
