Sunset at Durdle Door

On Saturday 19th September my friend Pat and I took a trip down to Durdle Door hoping for a good sunset. The weather had been very changeable and grey and the forecast for the evening looked like the first opportunity to have a good evening of photography. We got there around 5.40pm so we had a while to wait before the sunset around 7.00pm so we had a wander around and took a few pictures before the serious stuff of the sunset. Of course because it was a good evening there were plenty of people down there.

We didn’t think we were going to get a good sunset but as the light changed it got better and probably the best colouring was when the sun had set although it didn’t last too long.
